WebMay 29, 2013 · Location: Sterling, VA. I've been enjoying the old Rawhide TV Show on AMC on Saturday mornings. I forgot what a great show it was. Gil Favor, Rowdy Yates and the crew are running their herd of 3,000 up from Texas to Missiouri. Obviousuly the herd scenes are shot in California and there is no way that the herd is 3,000 strong.
