It is a mine of information, giving extremely interesting historical facts and is a must for anyone who has, or would like to purchase, a lewis Chessmen set. SpletThe kings have long braided hair (except one) and hold in their right hand a sheathed sword resting across their knees. They wear a long mantle fastened at the right shoulder over various other types of clothing, and their crown has four trefoils. Queens are all cupping their chin in their right hand.
